The Shop86 Gets New Mirrors

Today the shop installed a brand new set of EVS Tuning GTLM mirrors for our Shop86!

We have been searching for a suitable set of mirrors for our shop car for quite some time now. It was just a matter of waiting for these mirrors to be available. Like all race cars, we had to make sure it the mirror is made of carbon fiber and went with a black arm and base to match the car's secondary color.

The installation was quite simple and short. The base of the mirror reuses the the original three mounting holes of the OEM mirror and then two screws hold the mirror to the base.

The mirror lens is equipped with blue anti-glare and offers a wide viewing angle thanks to its convex shape.

Although we would be losing the proximity sensors and blind spot detection, the EVS Tuning mirrors offer an anti-glare, convex mirror for a clear, wide-angle view. Having a wide angle
