Today we changed the rear lower control arms in order to reach our desired degree of camber.
Since the car will be lowered on coilovers, we needed a way to achieve more camber in order to further push the limits at the track and set new times.. We turned to SPL since they their arms are highly recommended amongst 86 track enthusiasts.
We also installed a set of HKS Hipermax S coilovers to our shop GR86. We found them to be a direct upgrade and feel just as soft as OEM, but is much more responsive. We will look into upgrading to the Hipermax R's in the near future. Despite the GR86 and BRZ being fundamentally the same car, the rear suspension geometry are different between the two. It is important to ensure that the suspension components you purchase are for your vehicle.
